Beautiful pair of plates in fine white porcelain made by the
Richard Ginori manufactory based on a design by
Giovanni Ponti (Gio Ponti), entitled
Le Muse (The Muses). This is a re-edition authorized by Ponti himself in 1963, with the production continuing until around 1970 and referring to the original models of the 1920s. The white background is decorated with a light purple edge, gray columns accompany a white and gold center on which a female figure, the Muse, is painted. Both plates are in perfect conditions.
