Refined jug in
lattimo (milky) glass with bubbles inserted within the small rhombuses formed by the
reticello (the net). The mouth is spouted, and the elegant ribbon-like handle in crystal glass is characterized by gold foil inclusions. The large circular base is decorated with the
reticello technique as well, and embellished by a bulge crafted with ribs. It was made in the 1930s by the well-known glassworks
A.VE.M.,
Arte Vetraria Muranese, and is an example of the skillful craftsmanship of Murano glassmakers, known all over the world.
