Luciano Ferro was born in Murano in 1925. During the 60s, he worked as a master glassmaker and designer for the famous company A.Ve.M. next to Angelo Fuga and the Fucina degli Angeli. His refined Murano glass works were exhibited at the two editions of the Biennale of 1964 and 1966. Among his most iconic creations are worth-mentioning the animals - such as the cat, the fish, the pelican, and the swallow - the acrobats, and the carnival masks.
