Splendid swordfish made by
Luciano Ferro, master of the historical
A.Ve.M. -
Arte Vetraria Muranese. The sculpture is made of crystal glass with the sword in aquamarine green, while the rest of the body with uniform gold inclusion. The fins have light inclusions in gold foil; the eyes are made with heat-applied white and black glass paste. The fish rests on a crystal rock-shaped base with silver inclusions. It has been perfectly preserved. The piece is accompanied by the master's original drawing with his indications and catalog number.
