Murano glass sculpture Luciano Ferro for A.Ve.M. - 1960s

Acrobat sculpture L. Ferro - A.Ve.M. - Murano 1960s
Wonderful figure of an acrobat made of Murano glass by the master glassmaker Luciano Ferro for the historical glass factory A.Ve.M. It is a grotesque man doing a handstand: his arms are comfortably leaned on the circular base, his the right leg is bent towards the left one, and the left foot is risen and can be removed like a bottle stopper. The dress is made with canes of zanfirico lattimo glass, the head and the feet are in crystal glass with gold foil inclusions, and the details of the face are in polychrome glass.
