White porcelain plate designed and created by Piero Fornasetti in the 1970s. This is a numbered piece (n. 5) from the Specialità siciliane series (Sicilian specialties). On this plate with a white background and gold edge, the artist decided to represent the Orion fountain of Messina, framed by the complete recipe of one of the most well-known Sicilian dishes: sweet and sour rabbit.
