Elegant ruby red crystalline glass vase with large twisted ribs (
costolature) and heat-incorporated gold foil. The object has a particular fan-shaped mouth with two lateral curls. It belongs to the
Cordonati oro series, proposed in 1952 by
Ercole Barovier at
Barovier & Toso. The bright color is of great prominence, highlighted by the gold foil which makes it even more brilliant; the ribbing -
costolatura -, combined with the elegance of the shape, highlights the Barovier style of the time.
