Splendid blown glass sculpture made by the well-known glasswork

Arte Vetraria Muranese, based on the design by Aldo Nason. It is a fantastic figure with an aubergine-shaped body in very dark amethyst colored glass supported by two large feet in heat-applied black glass paste. The hand and the face are in crystal glass with gold inclusions, polychrome glass was used to create the details, while the hair was made by covering the glass with gold foil. The work, in perfect state of conservation, is accompanied by the original drawing of the master with all his indications for the realization.
