Murano glass bottle of the series Aava designed by Timo Sarpaneva, a Finnish painter, sculptor, and designer. The bottle was created by using the incalmo technique to fuse and keep distinct three glass layers of different colors: black, coral, and pale blue. The domed and large body contrasts with the long and narrow neck, and with the pointy stopper. The chromatic contrast enhances the essential shape of this bottle which combines the Murano tradition with Scandinavian rigor. The bottom is engraved with the signature "Venini 92 Sarpaneva".
