Tempera on cardboard depicting a glimpse of Venice, painted by Gian Gianni at the turn of 19th and 20th century. In the foreground a gondola stops in the San Marco basin, in the background a beautiful Venetian palace whose architecture is reminiscent of the famous Palazzo Ducale (Doge's Palace) in Gothic style. The artist's style is of great impact, capable of capturing the different atmospheres, the countless colors of light and the reflections that the city impresses on the water, thus recalling the Impressionist movement. The painting is signed at the bottom left. Size without frame: 20cm x 42cm.
