Beautiful ovoid vase in green sommerso glass and crystal with gold leaf inclusions that create a particular decoration and singular light variations. It belongs to the Sommerso a bollicine series designed by Carlo Scarpa for the Venini glassworks in the 1930s; this piece was made in 2005 in a limited series for BPM (Banca Popolare di Milano), as attested by the signature on the bottom "Venini 2005 for BPM 91/160". Splendid collector's item, complete with Venini authenticity certificate, in perfect conditions.
