Murano glass cup with a truncated cone shape and straw-like reticello, with brown filaments intertwined in a spiral and rhomboidal bubbles. This particular cup was made by using the reticello technique: it dates back to the 1500s and enables glassblowers to obtain a glass surface divided into little rhombus containing small air bubbles. This cup was designed by Carlo Scarpa in 1927, and produced by Venini, as proved by the signature 'Venini Italia'.
