Refined English coffee pot made of continental silver with hallmarks indicating the city of Sheffield, the year of manufacture, 1907, and the manufactory, W. Hutton & Sons. The refined and subtle elegance that characterizes this piece is typical of the Edward VII style that combines British tradition, neoclassical taste, and Art Nouveau influences. The handle, as well as the lid handle, are made of ebonized wood; the body is decorated with delicate ribbing and rests on a circular base. Wonderful example of table silverware, still in excellent condition.
