Elegant George III coffee pot crafted in continental 800 silver, bearing the London city hallmark - the crowned leopard’s head - the date letter for the year 1770, and the maker’s mark of Charles Woodward. Elegant and refined, it features a fluted baluster-shaped body resting on a circular foot, and a gracefully scrolled handle in light wood. The distinctive gooseneck spout, with its sinuous form enriched by foliate motifs, is characteristic of coffee makers of the Georgian period. On one side, an engraved coat of arms depicting a lion adorns the surface. Original decorative piece, in excellent condition.
