Walking stick in wood and metal - Italy 1930s

Particular stick with wooden body and clear patina that can be divided into three parts and tau-shaped handle in metal engraved with floral motifs. By unscrewing the handle, there is a small secret compartment with a small glass bottle inside which messages or other things could be kept. The use of the cane, as a luxury item, has oriental origins and later spread to the West, becoming also a female fashion. The walking stick has a smooth shaft, straight at the top as well, where it sometimes ends with a pommel or other ornament made of metal or other precious material.
