Murano glass amphora in matt white glass belonging to the series I pulegosi. The technique that makes the object dense and translucent consists in adding some oil to the melting glass, which creates small gas bubbles, called puleghe. It was the first major innovation that Napoleone Martinuzzi introduced when he was director of Vetri Soffiati Murano Venini & Co. glassware.
