Authentic brooch from the early 18th century made of 18-karat yellow and red gold with hallmarks of the Papal State. It is composed of a horizontal element to which a vertical one is attached; both have a square frame with Baroque cymatiums, while inside there are two finely embossed and engraved birds, taken from Christian iconography. A splendid example of Italian goldsmith's art, it is in excellent conditions.
