Aurelio Catti was an Italian painter who lived at the turn of 1800s and 1900s (Palermo, 1895-1966). His father, Michele Catti, was a painter too, and Aurelio brought forward his artistic activity. He studied architecture at the Brera Academy in Milan, he lived in Trieste and then in London, where he completed his studies. After returning to Palermo, he exhibited in his city many of his works of art.
His paintings are characterized by urban landscapes surrounded by an autumn and rainy atmosphere, and are still today highly sought after.
