Angelo Brombo depicts in most of his works Chioggia, his hometown. The view of this painting is of the well-known Ponte dei Filippini, while in the background there is the Church of S. Domenico, where some of the works of Carpaccio and Tintoretto are kept. Both the use of light and the quick brushstroke make the style of the artist recognizable.
