Splendid antique rhomboid pendant with in the centre, in an oval frame, a beautiful painted miniature depicting a female bust in 19th-century clothing and hairstyle. The edge of the pendant is decorated with blue enamel, while on the surface there is a gold grid that stands out against the dark background which houses a lock of hair, probably of the person portrayed. It is a typical sentimental jewel, widespread throughout Europe until the first decades of the 20th century.
