A baeotton centerpiece Barovoer & Toso - Murano 1940s
Elegant ruby-red centerpiece covered with gold powder, created using the "a baeotton" technique: the glass was filled with air bubbles (puleghe), which become larger and larger, creating a dynamic effect on the cup. The lip and the foot are surrounded by a crystal glass ribbon. The cup was made in the 1940s by Ercole Barovier, one of the most famous glassmakers at the turn of the two centuries.
