Beautiful oil painting on canvas of a noblewoman portrayed more than half-length, with the torso in three-quarter view, but with her face turned towards the observer. The lady wears a refined brocade bodice, a white shirt with lace and a blue shawl; in her hair, elegantly coiffed, you can see the pearl diadem that matches the earrings. The noble figure also has a symbolic meaning, it is the allegory of peace that brings abundance, in fact we can see an olive branch in her right hand, a symbol of peace, while with her left she holds ears of wheat, a symbol of abundance of fruits. The painting is attributed to Giovanni Maria Dellepiane, known as il Mulinetto (Genoa 1660 - Monticelli d'Ongina 1745), a refined and elegant painter, a leading exponent of the Italian Barocchetto. It features the expertise made by prof. Luciano Anelli, dated 20 Dec. 2021. The work is well preserved and comes with the original frame.
