Stunning Murano glass vase belonging to the Nebbia di luna collection, designed by Thomas Stearns for Venini. The American artist collaborated with the famous Murano manufacture in the 1960s, and created some very original pieces. This vase is made with the incalmo (lit. 'graft') technique, which allowed the combination of green and smoky-brown colored glass; the upper part has vertical engravings made on the grinding wheel. At the base is the acid signature 'Venini Murano Italia'. Original work, in perfect conditions.
