Extraordinary vase in deep red transparent glass, of great thickness, finished by dense horizontal grindings. It belongs to the Battuti series, designed by Carlo Scarpa in the early 1940s and exhibited at the XX Biennale. The grindings, which give the glass an appearance similar to hammered silver, represent one of Scarpa's most iconic processes. At the base it has the signature 'Venini Murano ARS'.
