Wonderful Murano glass sculpture created by Murano artist Lucio Bubacco, undisputed master of the particular lampwork technique. It is a transparent blown glass cup with a slightly everted mouth and a green decorated rim. The cup is embellished with a twisted movement and gold foil inclusions. The stem is made up of sinuous polychrome elements and supports two lateral structures decorated with curls, also in various colours. These serve as niches for two figures: a female on the left holding a handkerchief and conductor's baton, and a male on the right playing the violin. Both are represented naked with their faces covered by traditional Venetian masks and headdresses. Finally, the foot that supports the refined sculpture features the decorative motif of the cup.
