Old Russian icon executed in tempera on wood representing the Resurrection of Christ with the sixteen festivities. The central panel depicts the Resurrection, the most important festivity of the liturgical calendar, and is divided into two scenes: the descent into hell at the bottom, and the resurrection from the tomb at the top. The sixteen festivities of the liturgical year are arranged around the central image. In the outermost part of the panel, there is a gilded metal frame, the color of the divine par excellence.
