Refined Murano glass bottle from the Alabastro series, designed and produced by Archimede Seguso in the 1950s. The slender, perfectly proportioned body culminates in a narrow neck topped with a sculptural drop-shaped stopper, an iconic element of the collection. The opalescent yellow color, intense and luminous with subtle shading, is achieved through the Alabastro technique, which gives the glass a satin finish and controlled translucency, similar to the natural stone from which it takes its name. This process is the result of a blend of oxides and minerals, and it creates a velvety, compact surface capable of diffusing light softly and enhancing the verticality of the form. Piece distinguished by the purity of its lines and the quality of its craftsmanship, reflecting the ability of Archimede Seguso, a glassmaker able to transform material into a refined design object. The condition is excellent.
