Antique mantel clock with a black marble base in the center of which is a clock with front winding, it chimes every hour and half-hour. Above the marble base rests a beautiful bronze sculpture by Charles Cumberworth (1811-1852), a French sculptor of refined artistic sensitivity. The figure portrays a young woman with gathered hair and a soft dress, and a dove clutched to her chest. The clock is in excellent conditions and can become a fascinating piece of furniture even for a modern home.
