Bohemian crystal glass - Fredrich Egermann - Prague 19th century

Bohemian crystal glass made in the mid-19th century by the historic Fredrich Egermann manufactory of Prague which produced crystals with two layers of colour using above all red on the outside. This splendid red-burgundy object has been finely engraved with the grindstone to depict vine shoots with vine leaves and a beautiful bunch of grapes, while in the central field there is a scene with the god Bacchus making a toast by raising the goblet of wine. The glass is original and perfectly preserved.
