Oil on panel Still life - Italy 1950s

Painting made in the mid-20th century in oil on wooden panel depicting a still life. A prosperous vase of hortensias stands out on a table covered with a blue cloth; particular quirk of the artist who placed an ashtray with a lit cigarette next to the vase. Beautiful coeval frame with decorations of vines and flowers. A detail of the object is that on the back of the table there is another painting from an earlier period which depicts a portrait of a woman with showy jewels, signed "Arti Riunite Piacenza".
